We are less than a week away from the official start of SXSW Music… and Spring Break. If you’re not already stoked about one or the other, you should probably download my spring mix to get you in the right state of mind and ensure you have the best pre- and post-party jams.
This mix really has it all. SXSW performing artists? Check. Good ol’ indie rock? Check. Pop? Electronic? Dance? Hip hop? Psychedelic? Throwback? Check, check, check, check, check, check. I even got some Lou Reed in there. #ftw

This year’s winter mix contains 22 tracks ranging from upbeat to broken-hearted and goes great with a heavy beer and warm fire. It’s mostly new stuff with a couple of throwbacks perfect for the season.
Created this 2-hour mix for our office holiday party at Kung Fu Saloon this year. There aren’t a lot of holiday songs in there; instead it’s mostly dancey jams, throwback hip hop, a couple of pop hits and other classics. Definitely perfect for any late holiday party or New Year’s throw down.

I spent Labor Day Weekend in Tampa Bay and St. Pete, Florida with my 4 girlfriends. Tampa is the strip club capital of the country and also swinger capital of the country. And there’s lots of booze. It was fun. A lot of these songs are poppy, electro, or very 80s-sounding so they’re sure to transplant you to the Sunshine State.

My family and I sojourned in Pagosa Springs, Colorado (an hour east of Durango) after a long, dusty drive through West Texas and New Mexico this summer. This was the soundtrack to that drive.

It’s the first day of sexy summer. There’s only two steps to enjoying it: Download this extended mix (25 songs). Stay cool.

Spring is here and so is another mix. A little over an hour long and featuring my highlights from SXSW (plus a few other gems I think are perfect for the season), the Spring Mixtape is poppy, dancey, synthy, jammy and full of mostly new stuff.

Here’s a new mixtape inspired by my first trip to Arizona. It’s an eclectic mix of garage rock, alt country, psychedlia and indie pop/rock. While I was shielded from the harsh sands of the deserts at the luxurious Boulders Resort, this is what I would listen to if driving through the desert on an acid trip.

There’s so much good music out now I had to compile another mix of faves. Perfect for winter weather and cruisin’ in your car with the heat cranked up.

New fall/winter mix is here. I really dig this one. And not only are the songs very fall (or winter — if you have one), but a few of them are also sentimental or appropriately timed for me now (like “Forever 28”).
So get your whiskey out, light a fire and listen to this shit.

Well, it’s pretty late, but if you’ve had the kind of summer I’ve had, you’ll understand. Luckily that’s not reflected in this mix of poppy/lazy/dancey jams to get you through the last 3 weeks of summer.
